Thanks to our dedicated team of parent volunteers, our students have access to after-school programs at Osler every day. Osler Parent Group has partnered with local businesses to offer exciting extracurricular activities, giving kids new learning opportunities (and parents a little extra time!)

All after-school programs are run through external providers. Please note their policies on registration and enrollment:
Important Details:
Parents must register and pay program providers directly.
A minimum of 6 to 8 kids must be enrolled at least one week before the start date, or the class may be cancelled.
If a class meets the minimum enrollment, late registrations may still be accepted.
All indoor classes take place in Room 106.

DISCOVERY SCIENCE (Grades 1-7)
This program offers 8 weeks of exciting hands-on science based activities. Watch fascinating demonstrations, join in enquiry-based discussions, participate in individual & group experiments, and make amazing take-homes. STEAM4Kids will inspire the curiosity and imagination of children with fun science activities that will help them understand the science all around them.

CREATIVE ART WITH VIOLA CHOY (5 - 8 years old)
This series of workshops will include sketching, drawing, watercolour & acrylic painting, sculpting, as well as mixed media art. Each week, students will explore different art projects using different mediums. Elements and principles of art will also be introduced in each art project.

ARTIST MASTERMIND WITH VIOLA CHOY (9 - 12 years old)
This series of workshops heavily focus on illustrating, watercolour & acrylic painting. Each week, students will explore different illustrating techniques using different mediums. Students will learn how to shade with form, value, and contrast in each art project. Different painting techniques will also be covered in this class.

BREAKING | HIP HOP WITH JHAYMEE HIZON (7 - 11 years old)
This series of workshops with Jhaymee Hizon of "Now or Never Crew" will include different hip hop and breaking foundation and techniques. Each week, students will be introduced to new dance moves and be challenged to create their own body movements. Students will also learn how to freestyle to the music.

JUST FOR KICKS SOCCER (Kindergarten - Grade 3)
Coach Riley and Coach Sean are super excited to get back on the field with the kids for another term of fun, friendship and soccer activities.
Just For Kicks was founded because of our passion for soccer. We saw that there was not enough affordable soccer that was also active and engaging.
Based in Vancouver, we provide after school soccer sessions, summer/spring camps as well as private training sessions across a wide range of ages and locations.
