Our Osler PAC operates within the Vancouver School Board Parent Advisory Council (PAC) framework, which is a parent-led non-profit organization recognized under the BC School Act. As an independent body, we work collaboratively with Osler's school administration while maintaining autonomy in decision making.
An advantage of forming a PAC: it makes us eligible for the BC Government PAC Grant, which generously provides $20 per student to support educational and community building programs and initiatives. Join our PAC meetings to help decide how we use these funds, whether it’s for new classroom resources or special programs that enrich our children’s learning experience. Your voice matters!
An elected PAC Executive Team oversees initiatives, budgeting, and advocacy efforts to support and enhance the school community.
All parents and guardians of Osler students are voting members.
Dannis Chan, Co-Chair & PAC Lunch Program Coordinator
Tricia Pang, Co-Chair & PAC Afterschool Activities Coordinator
Melanie Leung, Vice-Chair
Alina Medvetskaya, Treasurer
Farideh Araee, Secretary
